Dubai records $2.8bn in weeklong real estate transactions

Dubai real estate transactions worth AED 10.4 billion were conducted during the week ending February 17, 2023, with a total of 2,702 deals taking place, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Of these, 1,866 apartments and villas were sold for AED4.63 billion, while 221 plots were sold for AED1.42 billion.

The top three transactions were all land sales in Business Bay, with the highest being AED150 million, followed by a land sold for AED75 million and another sold for AED150 million.

Al Hebiah Fifth recorded the most transactions for the week, with 126 sales worth AED439.75 million, followed by Al Hebiah Fourth with 20 sales worth AED212.66 million and Jabal Ali First with 10 sales worth AED28 million.

The top three transfers for apartments and villas were an apartment in Island 2 sold for AED 160 million, followed by one sold for AED 155 million in Marsa Dubai and another sold for AED 123 million in Al Barshaa South Third, WAM said.

The total amount of mortgaged properties for the week was AED 3.55 billion, with the highest being a land in Al Warsan First mortgaged for AED 1 billion.

In addition, 252 properties were granted between first-degree relatives worth AED 811 million.
